William Lyon Homes is looking for a Director Land Acquisition to work in our Newport Beach office. The Director Operations will manage field operations to ensure quality homes are constructed on schedule and within budget, and work with all departments to continually improve customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Identify opportunities for land purchase.
• Perform due diligence/feasibility studies for land purchases.
• Negotiate purchase and sales of properties.
• Perform Pre-Entitlement and Entitlement duties.
• Maintain high profile in the Building Industry Association.
• Create financial proformas and marketing analysis to evaluate land purchases.
• Facilitate closing of properties.
• Ensure that pre-closing obligations on properties are satisfied.
• Assist Project Managers throughout due diligence process.
• Regular contact with Consultants, Subcontractors, Homebuyers, Division President, and other employees.
• Performs any tasks assigned.
