Homebuilder Sentiment Remains Steady
Although the NAHB index of homebuilder sentiment slipped a point in January to 57, it has stayed buoyed at relatively high levels with readings above 50 for the past seven months. Anything above 50 is considered positive sentiment. Notably, on a three-month moving average, builder confidence in the West rose by four points to 66.
