Burbank Denies MLC Holdings’s Preapplication to Submit its Housing Project

A conceptual proposal for a housing development in the Rancho district is not compatible with the surrounding neighborhood, according to a decision by the Burbank City Council Tuesday. After nearly four hours of public testimony and deliberation, council members voted 3-2 to deny MLC Holdings, Inc. its preapplication request to submit a proposal to build 34 single-family homes on a 4.7-acre plot at 814 S. Mariposa St.
