The high cost of land in Orange County continues to contribute to the housing affordability problems within the County. With a “finished lot” in the OC estimated at $575,000, land prices in the region far outstrip land prices in other Southern California counties. The high price of land in Orange County is symptomatic of the scarcity of supply and the desirability of the region.
