Spring Mountain Ranch, in the City of Riverside, a 1400-unit mothballed housing development begun during the last housing cycle, sees renewed activity with KB Homes, in a joint venture with landowner, iStar Financial, recommencing development activity. When sales activity in Spring Mountain commences in October of this year, it should be telling as to whether the generally depressed Inland Empire housing market will be able to support a development of this magnitude in an interior location.
